Kalki Koechlin, who embraced motherhood in earlier this year, often takes to her verified Instagram handle to give her fans a sneak peek into her fabulous life with life-partner Guy Hershberg and daughter Sappho.
As someone who believes in respecting all cultures and traditions, recently, she penned a long note revealing details about how she met her partner Hershberg, adding details about how at home, they celebrate the coming together of multiple cultures and religions in their own way.
The ‘Gully Boy’ actress shared an adorable photo with Guy and wrote, “We met at a petrol station on the way to the Dead Sea and started a conversation that lasted us several years of togetherness and a baby. We did the Bombay-Jerusalem commute every month for a couple of years where I used to pack fresh coconuts in my suitcase to Israel and he brought kilos of oranges and avocados to India.”
Furthermore, she even talked about how they overcame their cultural differences and added, “He got me to eat middle-eastern salad for breakfast, I got him to eat three regular meals a day. He learnt to make biryani and I, shakshuka. He took Hindi classes and watched French films, I started online Hebrew classes and learnt to listen to western classical music. He likes his coffee with cardamom, I like my chai with milk and sugar.”
Meanwhile, the National Award-winning actress, who has featured in films like ‘Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani’, ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara’ and many others is reported to feature in a Tamil film which will also star Prakash Raj, Sai Pallavi and others in pivotal roles.
