Recently, a verbal spat between Diljit Dosanjh and Kangana Ranaut took place on social media. In the conversation, Diljit claimed that Kangana was using a political agenda to distract attention from the demands of the farmers. The actress had earlier tweeted about an old lady at the farmers’ protests claiming she’s the same woman from the Shaheen Bhaag protests and that she’s available for Rs. 100 a day. Kangana later deleted that tweet.
Kangana took to her Twitter handle and a series of tweets and levelled some serious allegations on Priyanka and Diljit. Replying to one of the users, Kangana wrote, “Problem is not just them but each and every individual who supports them and opposes #FarmersBill_2020 they are all aware how important this bill is for farmers still they provoke innocent farmers to incite violence, hatred and Bharat Band for their petty gains.”
Further saying how people like Diljit and Priyanka are misleading farmers, Kangana wrote, “People like @diljitdosanjh and @priyankachopra will be hailed by the left media for misleading and encouraging farmers protests, pro-Islamists and anti-India film industry and brands will flood them with offers and English/living in colonial hangover media houses will felicitate them with awards, the problem is whole system is designed to make anti nationals flourish and grow and we are too less in numbers against a corrupt system, but I am sure magic will happen in every fight of GOOD versus EVIL, evil has been much stronger, JAI SHRI RAM.”
In another tweet, asking Priyanka and Diljit to first learn about what exactly farms bills are, Kangana wrote, “Dear Diljit Dosanjh, Priyanka Chopra – if you really care about the farmers, if you really respect your mothers, at least hear what the Farmer’s Bill is all about! Or is it that you want to use our mothers, sisters and farmers to be in the good books of the anti-nationalists? (sic).”
Kangana has been vocal about her support for the central government whereas Diljit has come out in support of farmers. Now it has to be seen if either Priyanka or Diljit respond to Kangana this time.
