Kangana Ranaut, alongside along with her staff, met India’s Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and sought his blessings for her upcoming movie, ‘Tejas’. The actress additionally added that they’ve sought permission from Indian Air Force too.
Taking to her Twitter deal with, Kangana shared some footage from her assembly the place she is seen presenting a bouquet of flowers to the minister and discussing the script of her movie.
Along with the pictures, Kangana wrote, ‘Today team #Tejas met honourable defence minister Shri @rajnathsingh ji for his blessings, we shared the script of our film Tejas with @IAF_MCC as well and seeked few permissions, Jai Hind Folded hands.’
Talking about the film, Kangana had earlier said in a statement, ‘Tejas is an exhilarating story where I have the privilege of playing an air force pilot. I am honoured to be a part of a film that celebrates these brave men & women in uniform who make immense sacrifices in the line of duty everyday. Our film celebrates the armed forces and its heroes … Excited to take this journey with Sarvesh and Ronnie.’
‘Tejas’ is reportedly the story of a daring and fierce fighter pilot, played by Kangana Ranaut. The Indian Air Force was the first of the country’s defence forces to induct women into combat roles in 2016. The film takes inspiration from this landmark event.
