Karishma Tanna Shares Nostalgic BTS Moments from Hit Series ‘Scoop’

Actress Karishma Tanna recently took to social media to share behind-the-scenes (BTS) pictures and videos from her time on the sets of the critically acclaimed Netflix series Scoop. The post, captioned “Nostalgia,” offered fans a glimpse into the early shoot days of the show that marked a turning point in her acting career.

Tanna reflected on her first day on set, describing the “nervous excitement, endless rehearsals, and butterflies” that accompanied her portrayal of Jigna Pathak, a character inspired by real-life journalist Jigna Vora. “This one’s going to change everything,” she recalled thinking at the time. Her post paid tribute to the cast and crew, including director Hansal Mehta, and expressed gratitude for the journey and memories created during the production.

Released in 2023, Scoop is based on Vora’s memoir Behind the Bars in Byculla: My Days in Prison, which recounts her arrest and eventual acquittal in the murder conspiracy case of fellow journalist Jyotirmoy Dey. Tanna’s performance was widely praised for its depth and authenticity, marking her transition from mainstream television to more serious, content-driven roles.

Over her two-decade career, Karishma Tanna has built a diverse portfolio, from popular TV serials like Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi and Naagin 3 to reality shows such as Bigg Boss 8 and Khatron Ke Khiladi 10, where she emerged as the winner. Her film credits include Grand Masti, Sanju, and Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari, along with OTT appearances in Hush Hush.

On the personal front, Tanna is currently enjoying married life with businessman Varun Bangera. The couple has recently been spotted vacationing across Europe, with stops in Croatia and Switzerland.

Her nostalgic post has resonated with fans and industry peers alike, celebrating not just the success of Scoop, but also the evolution of an actress who continues to redefine her craft.
