Late Sushant Singh Rajput’s Sister Shares Emotional Raksha Bandhan Tribute

On Raksha Bandhan 2025, Shweta Singh Kirti, sister of late Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, shared a deeply moving tribute to her brother, evoking widespread emotion across social media. In a heartfelt Instagram post, Shweta posted a video montage featuring cherished family moments, including Sushant’s childhood and joyful times spent with loved ones.

Accompanying the video was a poignant note expressing her enduring grief and spiritual hope. “Sometimes it feels like you never really left. That you’re still here, just beyond the veil, watching silently,” she wrote. Shweta described the pain of losing Sushant as “intimate and raw,” a sorrow too sacred to be spoken aloud. She reflected on the fragility of life and the solace she finds in faith, believing they will reunite “on the other side, beyond stories, beyond time.”

She concluded the note with a symbolic gesture: “Until then, I remain here, still tying a Rakhi on your wrist in my heart, still praying that wherever you are, you are wrapped in joy, in peace, in light. So long, until we meet again. With all my love, Gudia Di.”

Sushant Singh Rajput passed away on June 14, 2020, at the age of 34. His death was ruled as suicide by asphyxia. The case drew national attention, leading to multiple investigations. Earlier this year, the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) issued a closure report, clearing Rhea Chakraborty of any wrongdoing in the matter.

Shweta’s Raksha Bandhan message resonated deeply with fans, many of whom responded with messages of love, remembrance, and solidarity. The tribute served as a poignant reminder of the enduring bond between siblings and the lasting impact of Sushant’s life and legacy.
