Bollywood actress Madhuri Dixit is currently making waves in the digital world with her project ‘The Fame Game’. In the show she plays a role as a Bollywood superstar along with bringing light about the dark side of fame and glamour is being well received by fans.
She said that things took a turn when she moved to the United States with her husband Dr Nene. She had to do things on her own, bring up her kids and as she grew older, she matured and learnt a lot herself.
Madhuri Dixit shared that due to her star status in India true independence and freedom wasn’t easy for her to attain. It was very difficult. She also shared that having grown up in a protected environment, her parents would accompany her to film sets in India and along with that, her team of almost 20 people would always guard and surround her, so doing her own work was never a thing and pretty challenging.
She shared with media that how she was treated as a normal person or a daughter at home. She said that, “I mean, even when I was working in films, my mom used to scold me if my room was messed up and things like that. So that’s how I was brought up. And that’s how I am. When I go home, everything is back in the studio. I see my kids and I see my husband and it’s just a different life. I never really lost myself.”
