Rani Mukerji is all set to return as the fearless cop Shivani Shivaji Roy in Mardaani 3. Ever since the film’s announcement in August 2024, fans have been eagerly awaiting the return of their beloved character.
Director Abhiraj Minawala has already begun pre-production for the highly anticipated film. According to a report by Mid-Day, the makers are currently conducting look tests for key characters and fine-tuning the screenplay. The shooting is expected to commence by June. Auditions are underway to introduce fresh talent, with a strong focus on casting a powerful antagonist.
The production team has finalized primary shooting locations, with significant portions of the action thriller set to be filmed in Mumbai and Delhi. Additionally, the team is scouting further locations in North India, which will be confirmed in the coming weeks.
