Actress Mouni Roy has been roped in as the lead for acclaimed filmmaker Suresh Krissna’s next romantic drama, producer Prerna Arora announced on Wednesday.
The film, which is currently untitled, will tell a contemporary love story rooted in the world of social media — a theme the makers say will strike a chord with today’s young audiences.

“Suresh sir has been one of my all-time favorite filmmakers. This is a very young love story with a relatable narrative set in the age of social media, and I truly believe audiences will connect with it,” she said.
According to Arora, the script immediately resonated with Roy. The actress gave her nod right after the narration, and further details about the cast and crew are expected to be revealed soon.
