For me, these nine days have always been about celebrating with my family, being positive, and being together.”
The 18-year-old acknowledges that she is in charge of making sure everyone is dressed appropriately and choreographed. “I am that enthusiastic person who color-codes every clothing according to the day and even practices the steps for the ideal Garba. Our group’s dance is choreographed by me, and I also make sure that everyone is dressed in color and as thrilled about the event as I am. I even have a playlist of only garba songs during Navratri. That’s when the dancer and fashionista in me come alive,” she says with a laugh.
