NJP Police has arrested 4 people in case of theft at Fulbari Bypass Truck Terminal

Fulbari, April 27: In a recent development, the New Jalpaiguri (NJP) police station has arrested four people in connection with the theft of parts worth lakhs of rupees from several trucks at the Fulbari Bypass Truck Terminal.

The arrested accused have been identified as Zariful Ali, Jamshed Ali, Alimul Haq and Hasan Ali, all residents of different areas of Phulbari.

A few days ago, an incident of theft was reported from the said terminal where parts of several trucks were allegedly stolen. After the incident, the terminal management lodged a written complaint at the NJP police station.

Based on the complaint, the police started investigation and arrested the four accused. The officers also recovered stolen goods from their possession.

On Saturday, all four accused were presented in Jalpaiguri district court. At present the police is engaged in further investigation.
