NNC Parent Body under the leadership of Yilow Humtsoe, Zhiongba Yimchungru and V Nagi held deliberations on January 20-22, where intensive discussions on key issues for the betterment of the Naga people and the North East were addressed and resolved.
A press release by NNC information and publicity wing stated that, the NNC once again reiterated its stand on Naga national unity for political solution as a whole for the best interest and peace to prevail among all the Naga people. NNC also stated that it would stand for down trodden people living across the Burma (Myanmar) region.
Meeting also touched upon the importance of maintaining peace and tranquillity in the North East region through its geographical, political, social and historical connection as brotherly neighbour for better future.
