Not Varun Dhawan but Akshay Kumar was Alia Bhatt’s first co-star .

Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan are one of the most loved on-screen couples of Bollywood. They made their Bollywood debut with Karan Johar’s ‘Student of the Year’. Since then, they have been a part of lot of films like ‘Kalank’, ‘Badrinath Ki Dulhania’ and ‘Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania’.

Following the statement, Akshay Kumar launched the first two looks of his upcoming horror-drama ‘Laxmmi Bomb’. Calling the genre of the movie his “favourite” and a “passion project”, he said that he was looking forward to doing the film.

But did you know that before making her big debut in Bollywood, Alia was seen as a child artist in Tanuja Chandra’s film ‘Sangharsh’? She played the role of younger Preity Zinta.
She was seen with Akshay Kumar in the film and shared her first ever screen space with the superstar. In a recent live interaction, Varun revealed that not him but Akshay was her first co-star.

While interacting during the live, Alia also spoke about her quarantine haircut which was given by her hairstylist and boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor. When Varun asked her about the hairstylist, she said that it was an interesting moment but she will not share her hairstylist’s name fearing all would line up outside his house. But Alia assures Varun that she will send Ranbir to his place.
