Parineeti Chopra and her husband Raghav Chadha are expecting their first child, the couple revealed in a joyful social media post featuring a cake with the inscription “1+1=3” and the caption: “Our little universe … on its way. Blessed beyond measure.”
The announcement drew warm congratulations from across the film industry. Priyanka Chopra, Parineeti’s cousin, responded with a heart emoji and “Congratulations,” while Ananya Panday wrote, “Awww congratulations Pari!!!” Katrina Kaif, Sonam Kapoor, Neha Dhupia, Bhumi Pednekar, Huma Qureshi, Masaba Gupta, Rakul Preet Singh, and designer Manish Malhotra also joined in with celebratory messages.
Parineeti and Raghav were married in September 2023 in a private ceremony in Udaipur. Their relationship began in London and quickly blossomed into marriage. Parineeti has previously shared that Raghav fell in love at first sight and that she Googled his height before their first date.
The pregnancy news also appears to have eased speculation about a rift between Parineeti and Priyanka, who missed the wedding due to work commitments. Priyanka’s public congratulations were widely seen as a reaffirmation of family ties.
Parineeti was last seen in Amar Singh Chamkila opposite Diljit Dosanjh and is currently working on an untitled project. The baby is expected to arrive in late 2025 or early 2026.
