Global music sensation Post Malone is set to perform in Guwahati, Assam, on December 8, 2025, marking his first solo headline show in India. The concert will take place at the Khanapara Veterinary Ground and is being organized by BookMyShow Live and Live Nation in collaboration with the Government of Assam.

This performance is part of Malone’s ongoing “Big Ass World Tour,” which has already captivated audiences across North America and Europe. The Guwahati concert will be his debut in the Northeast region and his second visit to India, following his appearance at the Zomato Feeding India charity concert in Mumbai in 2022.

Tickets for the event will go on sale starting September 20 at 12 PM IST, exclusively on BookMyShow. Pricing tiers include ₹2,499 for general admission, ₹4,999 for VIP access, ₹7,999 for fan pit entry, and ₹15,999 for lounge area passes.

The concert is a flagship initiative under Assam’s newly launched Concert Tourism Policy, aimed at positioning the state as a global destination for live entertainment. Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma hailed the event as a major milestone, stating that Assam is ready to host world-class concerts and that Post Malone’s performance will boost both cultural engagement and economic activity in the region.

Padmapani Bora, Managing Director of the Assam Tourism Development Corporation, emphasized the strategic importance of the concert: “Under the visionary leadership of the Hon’ble Chief Minister, Assam has embarked on an exciting journey into Concert Tourism. Welcoming Post Malone is a testament to how India’s live entertainment landscape is expanding, with Assam emerging as a key contributor to this growth”.

Post Malone, born Austin Richard Post, is a Grammy-nominated artist known for blending hip-hop, pop, R&B, and country influences. His chart-topping hits include “Rockstar,” “Circles,” “Sunflower,” and “Congratulations.” His recent album F-1 Trillion and collaborations with artists like Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, and Travis Scott have further cemented his global appeal.

The Guwahati concert is expected to draw fans from across the Northeast and beyond, spotlighting Assam’s growing prominence in the international music circuit.
