Pradeep Ranganathan Makes Singing Debut in Dude’s Third Single

Actor-filmmaker Pradeep Ranganathan is set to add a new feather to his cap with his debut as a playback singer in the upcoming film Dude. The announcement was made ahead of the film’s Deepavali release, with the makers unveiling a quirky promotional video confirming that Pradeep will lend his voice to the movie’s third single, titled Singari.

Dude, produced by Mythri Movie Makers, marks the directorial debut of Keerthiswaran, who previously assisted Sudha Kongara on acclaimed anthology projects such as Paava Kadhaigal and Putham Pudhu Kaalai. The film stars Pradeep Ranganathan opposite Mamitha Baiju, with veteran actor Sarathkumar, Hridhu Haroon, Rohini, and Dravid Selvam in supporting roles.

The soundtrack of Dude has already generated buzz with its first two singles, Oorum Blood and Nallaru Po. The third track, Singari, composed by Sai Abhyankkar, is expected to showcase a lighter, playful tone and highlight Pradeep’s versatility as both an actor and now a singer. A promotional video released by the production team features Sai Abhyankkar humorously attempting to get Pradeep to sing, adding a fun twist to the announcement.

Technically, the film boasts cinematography by Niketh Bommi, editing by Barath Vikraman, and production design by Latha Naidu. Dude is scheduled for a theatrical release on October 17, 2025, in five languages—Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, and Kannada—positioning itself as a pan-India romantic musical entertainer.

In addition to Dude, Pradeep Ranganathan is also set to headline Love Insurance Kompany (LIK), directed by Vignesh Shivan, featuring SJ Suryah, Krithi Shetty, Gouri G Kishan, and Seeman. With multiple high-profile projects lined up, 2025 is shaping up to be a landmark year in Pradeep’s career.
