Priyanka Chopra Jonas has said that although she has built a successful career in Hollywood, she feels her most significant body of work in English-language entertainment is still ahead of her.
Speaking at the Cannes Lions conference, the actor noted that her international roles have not yet matched the creative variety she experienced in her Hindi film career. She said that in India, she worked with leading filmmakers across a wide range of genres, whereas her Hollywood projects have been comparatively limited in diversity.
“In my Hindi-language career, I’ve worked with all the best filmmakers and actors and done a variety of genres. In Hollywood, I haven’t had that same variety yet,” she said, adding that she is now focused on expanding her international portfolio with more diverse roles.
Chopra also spoke about how marriage and motherhood have reshaped her priorities, saying she is now more selective about work and travel while balancing her professional commitments as a working mother.
She made her Hollywood debut with Quantico and later appeared in films and series including Baywatch, The Matrix Resurrections, Citadel, and Love Again. She was recently seen in Citadel Season 2 and The Bluff. Chopra is set to return to Indian cinema with S.S. Rajamouli’s upcoming film Varanasi, starring Mahesh Babu and Prithviraj Sukumaran, scheduled for release in 2027.
