Quantico star Priyanka Chopra has criticised Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump’s call for banning Muslim immigrants, saying generalising a type of people is “really primitive”.
Priyanka Chopra has been making headlines for standing in solidarity with the #BlackLivesMatter movement. Over the past days, the actress has been voicing her anger about the death of African-American man George Floyd, and called to an end of “this race war here in the US, and around the world.”
“I just think you can’t put a ban on anyone. Generalising a type of people is really primitive,” Priyanka said. She said the fight against terrorism had grown so complex that “you can’t put a face on it any more”.
Priyanka is at present shooting for Baywatch alongside Hollywood A-listers Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron.
