Priyanka Chopra is out promoting her upcoming series ‘Citadel’. The actress, who recently made her presence felt at SXSW 2023, made an interesting choice when asked which current actresses she thinks to deserve to be the next Bollywood superstar.
At first, Priyanka replied, “Alia Bhatt,” correcting herself, saying the actress was already a ‘superstar’. PC then named Alaya F and revealed why he felt the actress fit the bill.
“I really like Alaya Furniturewala, she’s Pooja Bedi’s daughter,” the actress said and revealed, “When I met her I told her that I think she’s just cool and has a unique perspective. She tries to be like everyone else. Not doing. I think we’ll find out in a few years.”
During the conversation, she revealed which Bollywood movie was her favorite from her own filmography. To this, Chopra replied, “Barfi” and said, “As a film, it’s very touching and sweet, and the music is amazing. It just warms your heart, and that’s the kind of cinema I like. It moves you. And I don’t really watch my movies, but it was one that I watched at least 2 or 3 times.”
