Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh dedicates a song to Manmohan Singh

Why are the stars of sports and film industry silent on the death of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh? Trinamool MP Abhishek Banerjee raised this question on Sunday. Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh dedicated his concert to the former Prime Minister on that day. The singer has been performing one concert after another across the country in the last few months. The last concert of the ‘Dil Luminati’ tour was in Guwahati. During the concert, he remembered the recently deceased Manmohan Singh. He announced that he would dedicate the entire concert to the former Prime Minister.

Diljit himself posted a video on Instagram on Sunday night. In it, the artist said, “Looking at his tour, I can understand that he lived a very simple life. And even if someone ever said something bad to him, he never replied back. Although that is the most difficult thing in politics.” Diljit said that he dedicated the concert to the former Prime Minister. Just then, a picture of Manmohan Singh appeared behind the stage.

Diljit said that the current generation can learn a lot from Manmohan Singh. He said, “Those who speak badly about us are also a form of God.” Manmohan, who served as the country’s Prime Minister from 2004 to 2014, breathed his last at Delhi’s AIIMS Hospital at 9:51 pm on Thursday. The veteran politician and economist was suffering from various age-related ailments.
