Actor Rajinikanth has embarked on his spiritual journey to the Himalayas after completing the shooting of his upcoming film Vettaiyaan. The ‘superstar’ started his journey from Chennai and has already reached Dehradun. When asked about his visit to Chennai, he said, “I go there every year.” I will visit Kedarnath, Badrinath and Baba Cave. It gives me a new experience every time.”
When asked whether PM Modi would be victorious in the Lok Sabha elections, the actor replied, “No comment. Please don’t ask any political questions.” Rajinikanth also refused to answer questions about the ongoing debate in Tamil Nadu over whether lyrics or music are more important for a song.
Rajinikanth was again seen in Dehradun, where he said, “The whole world needs spirituality, because it is important for every human being. Being spiritual means experiencing peace and tranquility, and basically, it involves believing in God.
Recently Rajinikanth returned from a trip to the United Arab Emirates, where he was awarded a Golden Visa. During his visit, Rajinikanth also visited the BAPS Hindu Temple in Abu Dhabi.
Upon recurring from the Himalayan trip, Rajinikanth will start on shooting for Coolie, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. It was recently confirmed that actor Sathyaraj is a part of the film, which will have music by Anirudh Ravichander. This film produced by Sun Pictures is the 171st film of ‘Superstar’.
