After the launch of Samrat Prithviraj, Akshay Kumar is all set to treat the target audience with a new film. He shared a new poster of his upcoming film Raksha Bandhan on his social media account on Sunday. The ‘Samrat Prithviraj’ actor took to his Instagram handle to share a new poster that marks the trailer launch date of his much-awaited film ‘Raksha Bandhan’. Along with the poster, Akshay captioned his post, “Behen jaan hai… Sisters and brothers are sure to have an unbreakable bond of love! Here is our attempt at a glimpse into their world! #RakshaBandhan trailer releasing on 21st June 2022.”
The film ‘Raksha Bandhan’ was directed by Anand L. Produced by Rai using Zee Studio, Color Yellow Productions and Cape of Good Films. Akshay Kumar will be working with director Anand L Rai for the second time after Atarangi Re. The movie stars Abhinay Raj Singh, Sahamin Kaur, Deepika Khanna, Sadia Khatib and Smriti Srikanth in prominent roles.
The comedy-drama starring Akshay and Bhumi in the lead roles, ‘Raksha Bandhan’ is set to release on August 11, 2022, which was once slated for a worldwide theatrical release on November 5, 2021 to coincide with Diwali, but due to the Covid-19 Postponement due to the pandemic, which has prolonged pre-production and other important work.
