Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s much-awaited modern mythology, Brahmastra, went into overdrive on Saturday as the film recorded almost full houses across the belt. The three national chains – PVR, Inox, and Cinepolis jumped around 17 to 20 percent – while single screens too remained steady with occupancy similar to the opening day.
According to reports, Brahmastra is seeing a Saturday collection between Rs 36.75 to Rs 37.75 crore, taking the two-day Hindi total to Rs 68.50 crore.
Second-day trends indicate that the Telugu version will collect in the Rs 3 crore range and the other versions will keep a total of Rs 50 lakhs.
With this, on the second day, Brahmastra’s India total will stand close to Rs 40.50 crore, with an outside chance of hitting Rs 42 crore.
