Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor make a sweet couple. Recently, during a press conference at Berlin International Film Festival, director Sanjay Leela Bhansali revealed that the Gangubai Kathiawadi actress’s boyfriend, Ranbir Kapoor, complains she talks like Gangubai at home.
For the Berlin Film Festival 2022, Gangubai Kathiawadi was one of the few selected for world premiere. Sanjay Leela Bhansali praised Alia’s dedication to the press there and also mentioned that her boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor complains that she sometimes speak and act like her character at home. He said, “I think she’s become more Gangubai than Alia in real life. Speaking like Gangubai even at home was her boyfriend’s complaint. It’s like completely becoming the one alike the character.

Speaking about the film’s choice at Berlin Fete, he disclosed, “The story of Gangubai Kathiawadi has been terribly on the brink of my heart as me and my team have given it all to form this dream potential. We tend to experience an honour in showcasing our film at this distinguished Berlin International Film Festival.”
Helmed by the movie maker Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the forthcoming picture is tailored from one amongst the chapters of noted author Hussain Zaidi’s book “Mafia Queens of Mumbai”. Gangubai Kathiawadi is produced by Bhansali and Dr Jayantilal Gada (Pen Studios). Ajay Devgan, Vijay Raaz, Indira Tiwari, and Seema Pahwa are also the stars in the film. Due to COVID-19, the film has been delayed multiple times. Finally, its all set to be released on 25th February in Theaters only.
