There is a lot of pressure on a star youngster when they first start their career in the film industry. The stress of being compared to their actor parents, the need to demonstrate their value for the opportunity, and the concern over the opinion of the public. Rasha Thadani, the daughter of Raveena Tandon, and Aaman Devgan, the nephew of Ajay Devgn, undoubtedly went through all of these strong emotions last night, just before their first movie, Azaad, hit theaters today. Well, reviews and box office figures won’t be released until later. However, based on an early Twitter evaluation, Rasha shouldn’t be concerned.
The audience seemed to have been swept away by the star child’s incredible facial expressions! Her first performance was the highlight of the evening. In fact, some people are hoping Rasha will teach Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s niece Sharmin Segal, who was cruelly ridiculed last year for her “bland” portrayal as Alamzeb in Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar. This is not surprising given that Rasha’s debut picture certainly exceeded the high expectations that the public had of the young actress.
Since the announcement of her Bollywood debut, she has been the talk of the town. Actually, Rasha’s lovely voice left us wanting more long before her on-screen persona won hearts. The famous child is also a superb vocalist! The internet is replete with evidence of the same. But that’s not all! Many internet users already believe she is one of the most grounded celebrity kids in the business because of her interviews during Azaad’s marketing.
