Rhea calls Ranbir ‘Papa Bhatt’, Alia Bhatt express: ‘I am a Kapoor and he is a Bhatt’

In the first episode of ‘What Women Want’ hosted by Kareena Kapoor, Alia Bhatt spoke about her career, motherhood and many other aspects.
Sisters and actresses Kareena Kapoor Khan and Alia Bhatt are so fun to listen to. One is very candid, and the other is very witty. When they sat down to chat on the first episode of Mirchi Plus’ What Women Want Season 5, it was definitely a free-flowing conversation that went to interesting places.
Recently, Alia was in the news for adding Ranbir’s surname to her name. This was revealed on The Great Indian Kapil show on Netflix and when Kareena asked about the name change, Alia immediately said, “It was as a joke.” Of course, it was in response to Sunil Grover’s performance on the show, but this quick clarification has cast a shadow of doubt on Alia adding the Kapoor surname to her name. However, without making things awkward, Alia said, “Ranbir is a Bhatt, and I am a Kapoor.”
And interestingly, Alia Bhatt pulled out the cutest weapon in her arsenal to turn the conversation around, her daughter Rhea. Alia recalled how Rhea, at times, calls Ranbir ‘papa Bhatt’ and said, “Even today, she calls me Alia Kapoor. She keeps changing my name too.”
Alia is currently enjoying the success of Zigra, directed by Vasan Bala. Co-produced by Karan Johar, the film is currently running successfully in theatres. The film also became a subject of controversy when Divya Khosla accused Team Zigra of manipulating the box-office collections and claimed that Zigra was a ‘copy’ of her film Saavi, which was also a jail-break drama.
Apart from Zigza, Alia Bhatt will also be seen in Alpha, the next installment of YRF’s spy world. She will also be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s much-awaited Love and War, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal alongside her.
