Rhea Chakraborty report she had depression, PTSD after Sushant Singh Rajput’s death; Aamir Khan said it a ‘tragedy’: ‘Human beings are broken’

Rhea Chakraborty presently made a comeback with her podcast Chapter 2. The actress, who faced a lot of turmoil and public scrutiny after the sudden death of her boyfriend and actor Sushant Singh Rajput in 2020, recently opened up about her journey. Healing and forgiveness. He also revealed the real reason behind starting his own podcast.
In the latest episode of her podcast, the actress spoke to actor Aamir Khan, who praised her courage. He said, “Whatever happened to you, I would call it a tragedy.” The way your life changed after that, and the way you showed patience and strength, you never lost hope or faith in yourself. We can all learn a lot from him. The morale of the person gets broken and crushed. You are starting your second chapter.
Riya said, “I think upbringing in the army also makes a difference. Because you know life is hard. You have seen since childhood that when dad leaves, there are chances that he may not come back. You are taught to fight and never give up. Always remain hopeful. It’s just inherent in your DNA. No one can defeat you easily.” Aamir Khan said, “You have shown amazing courage and you should be proud.”
Rhea also discussed the real reason behind wanting to start her own podcast. “The biggest reason I started my own podcast was because the media made too much of the whole episode,” he said. I tried to give interviews once or twice, but I did not feel good. I went on a podcast a while back, and he promised me ‘Come on, we’ll talk like friends,’ the guy said, ‘I’m not going to question you like a journalist, we’re new media, we’re podcasters.’ , but he made it all worse for me. I didn’t let him release that podcast.
At least, in the case of traditional media, I know how they will see things and I am prepared. That was the day I decided I wanted to create a safe space where I wanted to talk to people.
Aamir Khan said, “Those who still think you are wrong because they were misinformed, I hope they will finally realize your truth.”
In the same podcast, Rhea revealed how Aamir Khan helped her control her anger during her trip. Riya said, “I was very angry all the time because everything was going against me. And it was you who showed me a documentary Rubaru Roshni which was about forgiveness and there I saw that people have gone through worse, yet they have forgiven people, which changed things.
Recalling that day, the actor said, “I remember you were very angry that day. You were extremely unstable and that’s why I asked you to see this.” Rhea confessed, “It didn’t bring any immediate change in me, but eventually I realized that there was no point in getting angry, it would only help. There is harm to oneself so it is better to forgive everyone and move on.
The actress thanked Aamir Khan for showing her the power of forgiveness as she was otherwise “in no mood to forgive”.
Rhea Chakraborty faced severe trolling after Sushant Singh Rajput was found dead in his Mumbai apartment. He was arrested in September 2020 for purchasing drugs for the late actor. After spending 28 days in Byculla jail, the actress was granted bail in October 2020. She was dating Sushant at that time.
