Salman Khan Applauds Trailer of Farhan Akhtar’s War Drama ‘120 Bahadur’

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has publicly praised the trailer of Farhan Akhtar’s upcoming war film 120 Bahadur, intensifying anticipation ahead of its release on November 21. The film, directed by Razneesh ‘Razy’ Ghai, is based on the true story of the 1962 Battle of Rezang La, where 120 soldiers of the 13 Kumaon Regiment, led by Param Vir Chakra awardee Major Shaitan Singh Bhati, fought valiantly against overwhelming odds.

Taking to social media shortly after the trailer launch, Salman Khan shared a poster of the film along with a heartfelt message: “Bahut kamaal trailer hai! Congratulations @farhanakhtar and the entire team of #120Bahadur. Yeh kahani har Indian ke dil mein utregi.” His endorsement was widely circulated, adding star power to the film’s promotional campaign.

The trailer, narrated by Amitabh Bachchan, opens with a stirring recollection of the 1962 Indo-China conflict and sets the tone for a gripping narrative of courage and sacrifice. Farhan Akhtar portrays Major Shaitan Singh Bhati, while Raashii Khanna plays his wife. The visuals, shot across Ladakh, Rajasthan, and Mumbai, depict the harsh realities of war and the indomitable spirit of Indian soldiers.

120 Bahadur dramatizes the heroic stand of 120 Indian soldiers against 3,000 Chinese troops, highlighting themes of patriotism, resilience, and leadership. The film’s tagline, “Hum Peechhe Nahin Hatenge,” echoes throughout the trailer, reinforcing its emotional and nationalistic appeal.

Industry peers, including actor Yash, have also commended the trailer, suggesting that 120 Bahadur could emerge as one of the year’s most impactful cinematic tributes to India’s military history.
