Salman Khan film beats Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava

Sikandar, an action thriller starring Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna, received mixed reviews from audiences and critics alike. Despite this, the film earned more than ₹100 crore globally. Sikandar grossed ₹35.47 crore in India and ₹19.25 crore overseas on its first day, totaling ₹54.72 crore worldwide. On Day 2, the film grossed ₹39.37 crore in India and ₹11.80 crore worldwide, bringing the total to ₹51.17 crore. The film’s worldwide collection stands at ₹105.89 crore.

Salman’s film has outperformed Vicky Kaushal’s Chhaava, which earned ₹100 crore on its second day worldwide. According to Sacnilk, the film earned ₹55 crore in India (₹26 crore on Day 1 and ₹29 crore on Day 2), and ₹95.75 crore globally. During the film’s trailer launch, Salman assured its success, saying, “Eid, Diwali, New Year, festive, non-festive—it’s the love of the people.” Whether a film is good or horrible, they ensure it reaches ₹100 crore. Salman clarified that the film will earn more than ₹200 crore, stating that “₹100 crore is a thing of the past.”
