Samantha Ruth Prabhu has officially commenced shooting for her upcoming Telugu film Maa Inti Bangaram, marking a significant milestone in her career as both lead actor and co-producer. The film went on floors with a traditional muhurat ceremony held in Hyderabad, attended by key members of the cast and crew.
The event drew attention not only for its cinematic significance but also for the presence of filmmaker Raj Nidimoru, who sounded the ceremonial clapboard to launch the shoot. Nidimoru, known for his work in the duo Raj & DK, is reportedly serving as one of the creative producers on the project alongside Samantha and Himank Duvvuru. His appearance at the ceremony, captured in photos shared by Samantha on social media, sparked speculation about their rumored personal relationship, though neither party has commented publicly.
Directed by Nandini Reddy, Maa Inti Bangaram reunites her with Samantha following their successful collaboration on the 2019 hit Oh! Baby. The film is being produced under the banner of Tralala Moving Pictures, Samantha’s own production venture, and is described as a heartfelt story centered on themes of love, belonging, and emotional strength.
Speaking about the project, Samantha said, “Maa Inti Bangaram is a film that spoke straight to my heart the moment I heard it. To be producing and acting in it feels deeply personal. It’s a story rooted in love and strength, and I’m thrilled to be working again with Nandini Reddy, whose vision I trust implicitly.”
Actor Gulshan Devaiah is also part of the cast, adding further depth to the ensemble. The film is expected to be a breezy entertainer with emotional resonance, aimed at connecting with family audiences.
With production now underway, Maa Inti Bangaram is being closely watched by fans and industry insiders alike, both for its creative promise and the evolving professional dynamics between its key collaborators.
