Superstar Shah Rukh Khan and actor Kajol share a close bond of friendship with each other, but fans got worried when the latter didn’t extend birthday wishes to the megastar on social media, and here’s why!
In an Instagram session, Kajol told her fans to ask her anything they wanted to. One of the questions that popped up had to do with her co-star Shah Rukh Khan. A fan of the actress asked why she didn’t wish the superstar and she had the perfect response. Replying to the question, Kajol said: “What more can I wish him? I think all his wishes came true when his son came back home.” Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan was arrested by NCB officials on October 3. However, just a few days before the actor’s birthday, his son was granted bail by the court.
Earlier last week – on the occasion of superhit movie Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge’s 26th anniversary – Kajol had put up a post on her social media account over the same. This did not go down well with the netizens who felt Kajol was being very insensitive towards Shah Rukh Khan, her costar from the movie, especially owing to the current tensed plight he was in with his son, Aryan Khan’s. Netizens called Kajol out for maintaining her silence amid Aryan Khan’s arrest.
Netizens slammed Kajol for putting up the post when Shah Rukh Khan was going through a low phase in life post his son Aryan Khan’s arrest. A comment read, “If your PR team did this, Shame. If you yourself posted this, Hurt! Your Best Friend is going through a lot right now, You post about this now when Aryan’s bail is rejected..? What’s wrong with you..?” wrote an Instagram user. “I hoped that you would stand with SRK in these hard times but we didn’t see anything from your side at least in social media …I was your fan ma’am but now,” commented another. “So-called best friend of SRK,” commented a netizen sarcastically.
