Shahrukh Khan express Aryan Khan looked like Jackie Chan when he was born: ‘I even trained him in Taekwondo’

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan was at the center of attention at the 77th Locarno Film Festival as he talked about his various projects and other aspects of his career during a candid chat with Giona A. Nazzaro, Artistic Director of Locarno Film Festival. Shahrukh talked about his favorite actor Jackie Chan and said that when his son Aryan Khan was born, he thought he looked like the Drunken Master star.
He said, “If I had to count my all-time favorite actors, Mr. Jackie Chan would be at the top. He’s funny, physically amazing and acts well. He keeps inspiring me. When my first son Aryan was born, I thought he looked like Jackie Chan. You know, when babies are born, they look something like this (makes facial expressions). He’s like Jackie Chan. He looked absolutely like Jackie Chan to me.I really wanted him to be Jackie Chan, I’m telling you sincerely.”
Recalling his meeting with him, Shahrukh said, ‘After many years, like 3-4 years ago, I had the privilege of meeting him in Saudi Arabia. He was as sweet and polite as I expected him to be.” He said, “If he ever saw the interview, he promised to open a Chinese restaurant in partnership.”Shah Rukh also claimed that he paid homage to Jackie Chan through several references in his 2011 superhero film Ra.One as he was among his all-time favorite actors along with actors like Michael J. Fox, Al Pacino and Robert De Niro.
On August 10, Shah Rukh became the first Indian personality to be honored with the lifetime achievement award, Pardo alla Carriera or Career Leopard, at the 77th edition of the Locarno Film Festival.
