Farhan Akhtar’s directorial debut ‘Dil Chahta Hai’ starring Aamir Khan, Saif Ali Khan, and Akshaye Khanna is regarded as a benchmark film on friendship. This film clocked 20 years of its release on August 10. During a recent interaction with a news portal, Suchitra Pillai, who played Saif Ali Khan’s girlfriend Priya, revealed Sharmila Tagore’s reaction to Saif Ali Khan getting slapped for a scene.
Suchitra stated that she met Saif Ali Khan’s mother Sharmila Tagore at a party and introduced herself as the woman who slapped her son.Reacting to Suchitra’s Sharmila Tagore asked her whether it was a tight one. Suchitra said that they both burst out laughing. The actress also revealed that Saif had encouraged her during the scene.
Meanwhile, actor-director Farhan recently made the announcement of ‘Jee Le Zaraa’ starring three big heroines- Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt.
The story of ‘Jee Le Zaraa’ has been penned by Zoya Akhtar, Farhan Akhtar and Reema Kagti and the venture will be produced by Reema, Zoya, Ritesh Sidhwani and Farhan.Dil Chahta Hai recently completed 20 years of its release. On the occasion, Farhan announced his directorial comeback Jee Le Zaraa. The film stars Priyanka Chopra, Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif, and is set against the backdrop of a road trip.
