Shefali Shah on the announcement of the release date for Delhi Crime season 3 shortly before Diwali

Shefali Shah has had a career high as a result of the holiday season; shortly before Diwali, the actor revealed that Delhi Crime season three would premiere the following month. “It feels like this Diwali’s patakha,” she says, referring to it as a “divine intervention.” It took a lot of willpower on my part to remain silent and discreet when people kept asking when the next season will air. However, it is now available, and I think it will be a long Diwali celebration that never ends. Shefali Shah simply gets excited, nostalgic, and fun around Diwali.

“I have this kid-like joy during Diwali. Furthermore, I am always more childlike than my children, even during festivals. She chuckles and continues, “It’s my favorite festival, something I look forward to every year. They are still very mature, big boys.” Every celebration ceremony and procedure have special meaning for Shefali. The Puja, everyone gathering, decorating the house—something I enjoy doing—and, at the end of the day, our closest core circle being together on Diwali night are the main events. “The festival is about all of that combined: the food, the costumes,” she explains.

Diwali is a significant event in Bollywood, with the festival of light being the brightest light in the actor’s life. Shefali recalls her childhood memories of getting new curtains and the smell of patakhas. Shefali also shares her love for her husband, producer Vipul Amrutlal Shah, her kids, and her dogs. Diwali also promotes acceptance and kindness towards oneself, as one is the only one standing by themselves. Shefali’s favorite Diwali tradition is giving gifts, which she personally selects and packs. Shefali believes that people should start giving gifts to herself, as she enjoys giving gifts but doesn’t receive them.
