Shefali Shah says she will never ever play mother to Akshay Kumar again

During an interview with Indian Express Adda Live, the actress shared a laugh when the topic was raised with Jim Sarbh and Vir Das. She then called her co-stars “mean,” and said she had reasons for taking on the role of Akshay Kumar’s on-screen mother. “I promise I will never play Akshay Kumar’s mother in my life,” she said.

When asked about the power dynamics on the film sets, the actress said, “Honestly I’ll tell you, I’ve had the pleasure of working with incredible people and I’m not saying that because it’s politically correct. I mean it. I’ve probably worked with a director or an actor. , who were extremely obnoxious. Besides, I’ve worked with directors who think actors aren’t just actors, they’re collaborators.”
