Shilpa Shetty: Too many platforms can boon and bane actors

Mumbai Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty thinks the current period, which offers actors a wide range of venues and choices, is both a benefit and a drawback for the motion picture business. According to Shetty, one of the most well-known celebrities of the 1990s and 2000s, performers must now choose their roles more carefully as a result of diversity. “The film industry is going through a challenging period. Whether directed by a woman or a man, movies are struggling to provide the kind of substance that viewers want. The audience’s preferences have evolved. Because there are so many platforms available, audiences have an abundance of options.

Actors must therefore make wise decisions. The actor told PTI on the fringes of the Jagran Film Festival that having too many platforms has become both a benefit and a drawback. In appreciation for keeping her popular throughout the years, Shetty thanked her followers. “The memorable music of her films has been one of the pivotal aspects of my career,” Shetty remarked. I’ve developed significantly as a performer. I adore “Dhadkan,” a romantic tale in which two guys compete for your affections; it’s every heroine’s dream. It was also a re-invention for me; it is one of my favorite films that I can watch over and over again. It’s the ‘Mughal-E-Azam’ of my career, as it was in the making for five years,” the 49-year-old actor said.
