Mumbai, July 29, 2025 — Acclaimed filmmaker Siddharth Anand has publicly lauded Mohit Suri’s latest romantic drama Saiyaara, calling it the director’s finest work to date and urging the production house to greenlight a sequel. The praise came via a heartfelt post on X (formerly Twitter), where Anand expressed his admiration for the film’s storytelling, performances, and emotional depth.
Anand, known for directing high-octane blockbusters like Pathaan and War, described Saiyaara as “Mohit’s craft at its peak” and “his conviction unhinged.” He commended Suri for delivering a cinematic experience that deeply resonated with audiences, stating, “I wanted to step outside the theatre and give you a big hug.”
The film, which marks the debut of Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda, follows the poignant journey of Krish Kapoor, an aspiring singer, and Vaani Batra, a lyricist diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer’s.
