Sonam Kapoor-Anand Ahuja’s residence in New Delhi gets robbed; cash, jewellery worth Rs 2.4 crore stolen

In a shocked nation, Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor and her husband Anand Ahuja’s Delhi home was robbed. Cash and jewelery worth Rs 2.4 crore were stolen from a house located on Amrita Shergill Marg, Delhi. Sonam’s father-in-law Harish Ahuja, Sangeet’s mother Priya Ahuja and Anand’s grandmother Sarla Ahuja are in the apartment.

Sonam’s half mother has filed a complaint at Tughlaq Road police station and their staff is wondering about the matter. It was quoted that the Delhi Police is questioning 25 employees, 9 supervisors, drivers, gardeners and other workers in the matter.

Not only Delhi Police, FSLO is also concerned with collecting evidence from the crime scene. Being a high-profile case, it was stored under the cowl and reports suggest the theft took place in February. According to the complaint, Sarla Ahuja claimed that she realized the theft on February 11 when she checked her cupboard for jewelery and cash. She left the jewelry check 2 years ago. The complaint was filed on February 23.

Meanwhile, Sonam who is happily expecting her first child, is in Mumbai. The couple introduced the exact information in an Instagram post on March 21. Along with some pictures, he wrote, “Char Haat. What we can do to promote you. Two hearts. That will beat unity with you, every step of the way. a family That will shower you with love and support. We can’t wait to welcome you. #dailyphenomenon #comingthisfall2022.”

Sonam and Anand got married in 12 months in 2018 in a simple wedding ceremony in Mumbai. On the work front, Sonam has a crime thriller Blind in the pipeline.
