Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had a meeting with bollywood industry celebs last night. Among them one celeb was Suniel Shetty.
During the event, Suniel shetty spoke about the battling industry #BoycottBollywood which is on trending since many months and affecting the movie business. His words won lots of attention.
Suniel said, there were a lot of people attending the event, someone asked for an entertainment park (in UP), someone asked for more theatres etc. All I asked for (at the event) was some help for our film industry because we probably are at the worst stage that we have ever been in. I asked for help to revive the industry and get our respect back. One rotten apple doesn’t mean that the entire tree is rotten.
Replying to it Yogi said, there were people who accused Lord Ram also, and such accusations are made everywhere. We should ignore these and move on with a positive outlook. Films have contributed to national integrity and to connect society. The promotion of Hindi by Hindi films is commendable. We have to see the positive aspects.
