Sunny Deol begins filming ‘Border 2’ in Dehradun

Veteran Bollywood actor Sunny Deol has commenced filming for the highly anticipated sequel, Border 2, in the picturesque city of Dehradun. The movie, directed by Anurag Singh, is a follow-up to the iconic 1997 war drama Border, which was helmed by JP Dutta. The sequel is reportedly inspired by the Kargil War of 1999, showcasing themes of valor and sacrifice.

Sunny Deol shared glimpses of his shoot on social media, expressing his admiration for the scenic beauty of Dehradun. In a video posted on his Instagram story, he described the wild weather and stunning sunset, saying, “So…so…so…beautiful.” The actor’s enthusiasm has heightened anticipation among fans eager to see him reprise his role in this patriotic saga.

The film boasts an impressive cast, including Varun Dhawan, Ahan Shetty, and Diljit Dosanjh, alongside Sunny Deol. The production team, led by Bhushan Kumar and Nidhi Dutta, has been actively sharing behind-the-scenes moments from the sets, further fueling excitement for the project.
