Surveen Chawla revealed in a new interview that a director tried to kiss her even though he knew she was newly married.

In a new interview, actress Surveen Chawla spoke about an incident where a director tried to kiss her even though he knew she was newly married.
In an exclusive interview with Haute Couture, Surveen opened up about the incident but admitted that she has had similar experiences many times.
She said, “I will tell you a story about Veera Desai Road in Mumbai. After a meeting in his office cabin, he came to drop me at the gate and this was after my marriage.
And the weird thing was that we talked about this in the meeting too, he asked me how everything was going and what my husband does, and we were only talking inside his cabin because his office was very big.
” She further added, “So, when I came to the door to say bye, he leaned towards me trying to kiss me, and I had to push him back. I was shocked and asked him what he was doing, and I just walked away.”
The actress had previously shared in an interview how a director from the south industry wanted her to sleep with him. Surveen said that he told her about his intention through the third person, as he was not fluent in Hindi or English.
Surveen had said that some people “take you to this state where you question yourself.” The actress then recalled the time when she was trying to transition from television to films, and during her first film meeting in Mumbai, she was questioned on her ‘appearance, weight and waist size, chest size’.
Surveen made her acting debut in 2003 with the television soap opera Kahin To Hoga. She has been a part of TV shows like Kasautii Zindagii Kay, Kaajal and 24. She made her film debut in 2008 with the Kannada film Paramesha Panwala and was later seen in Bollywood in films like Hum Tum Shabana, Ugly, Hate Story 2, Parched and the short film Chhuri.
She has also been a part of several major Punjabi films. Surveen made her web series debut with Sacred Games. She can currently be seen in Criminal Justice Season 4 opposite Pankaj Tripathi. She is also a part of Rana Naidu Season 2, which will hit Netflix on June 13.
