Swara Bhaskar express she followed rituals of all religions for daughter Rabia; asked husband Fahadh to offer namaz when she is unwell

Swara Bhaskar opened up about her belief in multiple cultures and religions and how she is raising her daughter by exposing her to different traditions.
Actress Swara Bhaskar married politician Fahad Ahmed in 2023 and welcomed their daughter Rabia Rama the same year. On Screen’s Suvir Saran show, Swara opened up about her belief in multiple cultures and religions and how she is raising her daughter by exposing her to different traditions.
The actress also opened up about her childhood and how her father creatively introduced mythological epics like Ramayana and Mahabharata in her life.
Talking about her upbringing, Swara shared, “When I was a child, I wouldn’t eat food, so my father would narrate stories from Ramayana and Mahabharata.
He would ask me to eat food, and before the climax of the story, he would ask me to finish everything that was on my plate before telling me the end of the story. It is a beautiful and effortless way to introduce children to culture.”
Discussing her approach to parenting and her desire to introduce Rabia to all religions and traditions, Swara Bhaskar said, “I don’t disbelieve in anything. Now that our daughter, Rabia Rama, is born, I keep telling Fahad, ‘Let’s perform rituals from all religions and cultures on her so that she is safe.’
We did all the rituals for her from all sides, and then I thought, ‘Is there any Christian ritual?’” Fahad revealed that Swara wanted to follow all the traditions related to her child’s well-being, so as to protect her from the evil eye. Swara further added, “When she coughs or is unwell, I ask Fahad to pray.” Swara Bhaskar was last seen in the 2022 films Jahan Chaar Yaar and Mimansa. She will next be seen in Mrs Phalani.
