Russia lodges appeal against FIFA, UEFA bans

On Tuesday, the Russian soccer federation appealed to have its FIFA and UEFA bans frozen and other punishments. Russian teams were driven out from the competition on 28th February,until further notice following the country's invasion of Ukraine. FIFA and UEFA did not specify their legal reasons for this. Facebook restricts several social media accounts in Ukraine

Access to several social media accounts in Ukraine has been blocked by Meta. The social networking giant also said it is reviewing other governments' requests to restrict access to the accounts in their countries.
