Mumbai, October 7, 2025 — Actress Tamannaah Bhatia has lauded Aryan Khan’s directorial prowess following her swift and successful shoot for his upcoming series Stardust, where she plays the character Ghafoor. The actress revealed that her entire segment was completed in just one day, crediting Khan’s clarity and perceptiveness for the smooth execution.
Speaking to the media during a promotional event, Bhatia shared her experience working under Aryan Khan’s direction. “Aryan is super clear and perceptive,” she said. “He knows exactly what he wants and communicates it with precision. Shooting Ghafoor was seamless because of his vision and the way he guided the entire team.”
Stardust, Aryan Khan’s debut directorial venture, is a six-episode series backed by Red Chillies Entertainment. The show is set in the 1960s and 70s and explores the rise and fall of fictional Bollywood stars, delving into themes of ambition, fame, and betrayal. Khan, son of superstar Shah Rukh Khan, has reportedly taken a hands-on approach to the project, overseeing everything from casting to post-production.
Tamannaah’s character, Ghafoor, is said to be a pivotal figure in one of the episodes, adding depth and intrigue to the narrative. Though details about her role remain under wraps, industry insiders suggest her performance will be a standout moment in the series.
The actress also praised the production team for their efficiency and professionalism. “It’s rare to wrap up a shoot in a single day, especially for a character with emotional weight. But the team was so well-prepared, and Aryan’s direction made it all possible,” she added.
Stardust is expected to premiere on a leading streaming platform in early 2026. With Aryan Khan’s debut generating significant buzz and Tamannaah Bhatia’s endorsement adding to the anticipation, the series is poised to be one of the most talked-about releases of the coming year.
