The Kashmir Files movie records its highest single day collection

The Kashmir Files movie directed by Vivek Ranjan Agnihotri is getting stronger at the box office with each passing day. It recorded its highest single day collection of 19 crore. On 16th March the collection was 18 crore. It was the film’s highest figure since yesterday. In its first week itself the film might just breach the 100 crore milestone.

Several states such as Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Tripura, Karnataka, Goa, Haryana, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh have declared this film tax-free as they are not charge any state GST on the movie.

The Kashmir Files movie stars Anupam Kher, Pallavi Joshi, Darshan Kumaar and others. It is based on the exodus and killings of Kashmiri Pandits in the Kashmir in the 1990s. It tells the fictional story of a student who finds that his parents are killed in an accident as his grandfather told him, some Islamist militants killed his Kashmiri Hindu parents.

The Prime Minister himself recommended the movie ‘The Kashmir Files’. At a recent event he spoke about this movie. He said the movie showed the full truth.
