Bollywood favorite Preity Zinta is officially making 2026 her grand comeback year. Amazon MGM Studios India has announced that the actress will headline Vibe, an upcoming action-comedy directed by actor-filmmaker Kunal Kemmu. The highly anticipated film is locked for a nationwide theatrical release on September 18.
The studio teased the project on social media, sharing an official poster alongside a promising caption: “Punch aur punchline dono guaranteed with Vibe.”
The film’s plot promises a hilarious, high-stakes ride. According to its official IMDb logline, Vibe follows two hapless friends who can barely manage their own lives. However, chaos ensues when they accidentally stumble upon a dangerous terrorist plot, suddenly finding themselves responsible for saving the nation despite being completely unprepared for the task. Joining Zinta in the main cast are rising talents Sparsh Shrivastava and Vanshika Dhir, alongside Kemmu himself.
Vibe marks another massive milestone in Preity Zinta’s return to mainstream Hindi cinema after a prolonged hiatus. Her last major big-screen appearance was in 2018’s Bhaiaji Superhit.
Fortunately, fans won’t have to wait until September to see her back in action. Ahead of Vibe, Zinta is also gearing up for the August release of Lahore 1947, an upcoming drama directed by legendary filmmaker Rajkumar Santoshi. Together, these back-to-back releases guarantee a thrilling and significant comeback year for one of Bollywood’s most beloved leading ladies.
