Who is a better dancer betweenTwinkle Khanna and Akshay Kumar? The latter wants you to figure it out. Akshay Kumar posted a video with Twinkle on Friday, in which the pair is seen dancing in Africa. In the video, Akshay and Twinkle were seen with a local group as the duo performed their version of the traditional Tanzanian dance Ritungu. The clip shows the duo dancing carefree, grooving to the raw rhythm of the music.
“Moving our feet and massaging our souls đ Omahe, the local group we danced with, used wonderful instruments made of feathers, skin, and sisal, and we performed our own version of a traditional dance called Ritunga. Who do you think danced better, Mr. K or me? When was the last time you danced your heart out?â Twinkle wrote.
The video left fans delighted, as they praised the couple’s dance. One user wrote, “Both players for a reason,” while another joked that it looked like the day of shooting for Chandni Chowk to Africa – a cheeky reference to Akshay’s film Chandni Chowk to China. Others also said that Akshay’s dance moves in the video reminded them of the song with Salman Khan from Mujhse Shaadi Karogi.
For Akshay Kumar fans, this dance video also came as a respite, with the actor enjoying his free time between consecutive flops at the box office. The actor is in one of his worst times in recent times, after the pandemic resulted in eight of his films flopping at the box office. His last release Sarfira was also a flop.
However, Akshay Kumar will be seen in three more films this year – the comedy Khel Khel co-starring Taapsee Pannu, the aerial action Sky Force and a special role in the Rohit Shetty-directed Singham Again.
