Tiku Talsania suffers brain stroke, wife Deepti denies reports of heart attack

Tiku Talsania was rushed to hospital on Friday after attending a film premiere in Mumbai. He is currently being treated at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital.
On Saturday, it was reported that actor Tiku Talsania, famous for his roles in the 1997 film Ishq and the 1993 film Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa, has suffered a heart attack and is in critical condition at the hospital. Now, the 70-year-old actor’s wife Deepti Talsania has spoken to NDTV and clarified that the actor has suffered a brain stroke.
Deepti said, “He has not suffered a heart attack but a brain stroke. He had gone to watch a film screening and at around 8 pm his health started deteriorating. He was immediately admitted to the hospital.” Tiku is currently being treated at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai.
The actor is known for his comic roles in several films including Aamir Khan’s Raja Hindustani (1996), the 1994 film Andaz Apna Apna and the 2007 film Dhamaal. The veteran actor has two children with Deepti. His son Rohan Talsania is a musician. His daughter Shikha Talsania is an actress. She has been a part of films such as Satyaprem Ki Katha, Veere Di Wedding and Potluck.
Tiku recently attended a film premiere with his wife. A video of it has surfaced online. In the video, the actor was seen exchanging words with Rashami Desai and smilingly posing for the cameras.
Rashami Desai, who met the actor last night, spoke to Money Control and said that the veteran actor was absolutely fine at the film premiere. He said, “The meeting was very nice.
Sir (Tiku Talsania) is a wonderful person and actor. Whatever happened yesterday was very unfortunate. He looked perfect when he came. I was busy meeting people. He reached on time and now things are better. He is better now, we pray for his speedy recovery. Tiku was last seen in the 2024 film Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, starring Rajkummar Rao and Tripti Dimri in the lead roles.
