Talking about her husband Alankar Srivastava who is also an actor, Nupur said, “I didn’t have to ask. He knew that I had talked to him once about wanting to become a monk when I visited a place. He freed me and his family also normalized my decision. I want ornaments to be the best in life. It (the marriage) was great as long as it lasted. We are not together even though we have not taken the criminal route of separation.”
