Varun Dhawan and Medha Rana Visit Golden Temple After Wrapping ‘Border 2’ Shoot

Amritsar, August 5, 2025 — Bollywood actors Varun Dhawan and Medha Rana marked the completion of their filming schedule for the upcoming war drama Border 2 with a spiritual visit to the Golden Temple in Amritsar. The duo, accompanied by director Anurag Singh and members of the production team, sought blessings at the sacred site following an on-set celebration in Punjab.

The wrap-up ceremony featured a cake-cutting moment led by Dhawan, who expressed gratitude to the cast and crew, stating, “It’s a wrap but Bharat Mata ki Jai.” Medha Rana, making her theatrical debut in the film, shared heartfelt reflections on social media, writing, “Every frame feels like a prayer, every moment on set a deep bow to those who give up everything so we can live fearlessly”.

Directed by Anurag Singh and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, J.P. Dutta, and Nidhi Dutta, Border 2 is a sequel to the 1997 classic and aims to honour the heroism and sacrifice of Indian soldiers. The film features an ensemble cast including Sunny Deol, Diljit Dosanjh, Ahan Shetty, Varun Dhawan, and Medha Rana. It is slated for release on January 23, 2026.

The Golden Temple visit served as a symbolic gesture of gratitude and reflection, underscoring the film’s patriotic themes and the emotional journey undertaken by its cast. With production now entering its final phase, Border 2 is poised to deliver a stirring cinematic tribute to national pride and valor.
