Vedang Raina state working with Alia Bhatt in Jigra has been ‘confusing’, talks about dating rumors with Khushi Kapoor

Actor Vedang Raina secured praise for his performance in his debut film The Archies. Soon after, the young actor was in the news for dating rumors with his co-star Khushi Kapoor. Although the two have been seen together on several occasions, their rumored relationship has been kept under wraps. Vedang has time and again dodged questions about his alleged affair with Khushi.Now in an interview with GQ, the actor talked in detail about his dating life and his next film Jigra with Alia Bhatt.
Talking about his dating rumors with Khushi Kapoor, Vedang Raina said, “At the moment my dating life is on the back burner as I am focusing on my career. I am clear about my priorities and want to keep these two aspects of my life separate. I’m enjoying where I am and I want to achieve a lot more. Not that dating will necessarily be a hindrance to me, but it can become a major part of your life.So I’m choosing to be mindful of this and focus on what’s most important.
Khushi and Vedang lately walked the ramp for designer Gaurav Gupta. Both were also seen together at the wedding of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. Some inside pictures of Vedang and Khushi sharing some cozy moments at Ambani’s wedding also went viral.
During the interview, Vedang Raina also said about his next film Jigra with Alia Bhatt. He said, “He is the complete opposite of me as an actor and honestly, it’s very confusing! Looking at her, it’s clear that she is talented and makes a significant impact. I arrive with extensive preparation, set the mood with my playlist and sit in a corner to soak in the scene. Then, Alia comes, and bam! She succeeds in the first take itself and I am amazed.”
Vedang said, “She gets into the character instantly, everything is sharp and precise. This is a testament to his professionalism after spending years in the industry. I’ve learned a lot from them – lessons that are hard to measure but get absorbed subconsciously. It’s incredible how much you can achieve by watching someone you admire.”
A few months ago, Indianexpress.com had learned that Vedang Raina will be seen playing Alia Bhatt’s brother-sister in Jigra. When we asked Vedang about this, he said, “Everyone keeps asking me this, but I am not sure what it is about. It feels very exciting to play the role of Alia Bhatt’s sister.
